I am currently the Administrative Director of Operations for Duke Raleigh Hospital and now responsible for the Cancer Center/Oncology Service Line, Labs, Radiology and Pathology. I was also serving as the interim senior leader of Envinronmental Services for 18 months

In this position, I am responsible for the human resources, strategic management and financial management of the Duke Raleigh Cancer Center and Oncology Services. The Cancer Center consists of four Clinics (Hematolgy Oncology, Radiation Oncology, GYN Oncology and Surgical Oncology). I also work hand in hand with the physicians and provide WRVU, PQRI and billing data to them.We have seen exceptional volume growth the past two years. The staff has almost doubled in size (~75 employees). We have made significant improvements to our clinics flow, dictation system for physicians, access for new patients, clinical research infrastructure and our work culture scores.

Provided data support to the Assistant Vice President of Oncology for the Duke Health System. Developed Labor Standards, standard reports, quality updates, worked with Nurse Managers and other functions as requested by the Assistant Vice President. Most projects related to business growth areas or labor.

Continued providing support for projects that were started during my summer internship.

Worked directly for the Director of Quality Improvement for the hospital. While there, I led a group of employees thru a 2 day Error Proofing workshop and provided project support for them after that. Helped develop a Excel base tool to rank solutions that came out of a root cause analysis. Helped with other database/data/statistic related questions as requested.

Taught Six Sigma Black, Green and Yellow belt classes across North Carolina to a wide variety of industries including healthcare and manufacturing. Provided technical support to the Tex Ed group focusing on Web Page and database development.
