Binary Solo is a small game company I started focused on new methods of telling stories. Currently a small company, I am in charge of everything technology. Responsibilities also include: Financials, Business Development, Creative, and Marketing.Our first major product was the Indie Van Game Jam, a road show documentary web and video game series which involved travel logistics, budgeting,and developer outreach. Involved in the video editing and the post production of the series as well as development of a standalone application for the series.We have helped teams ship their games on multiple platforms. Some of the games that we have helped bring to fruition include: Shadow Warrior (Mac/Linux), Outland (Mac/Linux), Blowfish Meets Meteor (iOS), and Mighty Number 9 (Mac/Linux).

Management of the scheduling for the Tools and Audio teams at BioWare Austin on Star Wars: The Old Republic as well as code reviews and architectural decisions. Liaison between the teams and production.

Member of the Gameplay team. Started as a Tools Programmer, making C# editors to assist artists and designers in producing content for our latest product. Transitioned to an internal development support role to provide programming support for artists, designers, and other programmers as a lead programmer of a team of seven. Maintained the internal servers via a custom monitoring solution.

Binary Solo was a small start-up that worked on various back-end systems for clients for iOS. I negotiated business deals with clients as well as programmed in Objective-C.

As a programmer of a MOD team at Multimedia, I was constantly exposed to many different coding styles and solutions for similar problems. It was my job to convert these games to work in a new jurisdiction by adding and removing key features and correcting any issues caused by the change. For example: We would be taking games designed for newer hardware and making them work with half the memory, half the performance.

Full Sail is a non-traditional form of higher education. As a student I attended class for forty hours a week, creating two video games during my time there. The nature of this school led me to feel as if I was gaining job experience as I learned time management (as proved by earning the Perfect Attendance Award) and diligence (presented as the Course Director's Award for Game Project).

Before going to Full Sail University I had no previous experience with programming. All but the mathematics classes were entirely new.
