Chad Thacker was born in Sioux City, IA, but spent most of his formative years in Texas and New Mexico. He began his career in retail at Hy-Vee in 1998 as an overnight grocery stocker, steadily advancing through the ranks to become Store Director by 2013, where he managed multiple locations and honed his leadership skills.In 2020, Chad took a bold step and founded his own company, CT-Squared, specializing in kitchen and bathroom remodels and custom cabinetry. His entrepreneurial spirit and expertise led him to Mercer Zimmerman in 2022, where he joined as a Distributor Sales Representative. Recognizing his leadership potential, the company soon offered him the opportunity to lead Built Solutions, where he is committed to driving success and innovation. Chad’s extensive experience in corporate management, combined with his passion for building and design, positions him as a valuable leader to the Built team.Outside of his professional pursuits, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and cheering on their two daughters in soccer, cross country, track and choir. He is an avid golfer and loves weekends on the water with family. A former motocross racer, Chad’s competitive spirit remains alive, as he continues to ride at local tracks throughout the Midwest. He is a dedicated fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, Iowa Hawkeyes, Indiana Fever, and KC Current.
