Responsible for leading the development of bid management for the Group’s Consultancy and International business streams (2009: £300m), and had a key involvement in all stages of bidding for a significant number of successful bids, including many high-profile high-value programmes of work. Also managed and developed of the group's Bid Centre, and responsible for ongoing training of staff.Other key responsibilities included:▪ Bid lifecycle, from capture plans and bid strategy, reviews, through to delivery and lessons learnt▪ Bid writing, including project, programme, risk and cost management methodologies▪ Management of knowledge sharing across the Group▪ Development and implementation of best practice; Training and support to international offices

Primarily involving infrastructure in the defence sector. Responsible for top-level technical design, managing proposals, programme planning, and project execution plans. Clients included the Defence Logistics Organisation, the Defence Procurement Agency, and various other UK and International NGO’s. Resigned following an offer from Mace Group for a better suited career path.

Core services included online technologies, IT, telephony, marketing and business finance. Group consisted of one holding company, with three registered subsidiaries. Responsibilities spanned all areas of the company including its organisation, business development and delivery. Project managed the development and launch of the Gordon Ramsay e-commerce website, and supported online infrastructure for senior political figures. Developed the processes and tools used throughout the organisation and led the development of new service offers. Applied metrics for risk management, customer training, and cost/schedule performance tracking. Monthly revenue peaked at £65k in mid-2006.

Responsible for every aspect of the New Media business, including organisation, contracts, recruitment, project management, marketing, and business development. Programme managed the development and launch of a financial & marketing conversion tracking platform used by Coral Eurobet, William Hill, Tesco Finance, and other major brands in over 15 countries. Managed a team of geographically dispersed people of various specialisations (including programming, graphic design, print and new media). Role involved regular travel around the UK and Europe. Held regular dialogue with key industry players. Turnover €2.4m pa (2005). Resigned directorship and relinquished all business interests in order to focus on other ventures. Company continues to trade.

Worked as part of the programme management and business development team, following graduation from a BAE Systems sponsored degree. Worked closely with senior directors, and was heavily involved with the development, design innovation, and programme management of major future programmes (defensive electronic warfare systems for military aircraft).
