I am a globally experienced leader with over 25 years of professional background in whole system thinking, ecological planning, and sustainable design. I am a certified planner rooted in landscape architecture, regenerative agriculture and ecology. I lead a broad range of project types from land analysis to net positive community design to regenerative farming and agroecology. I am a dedicated executive with broad management experience that includes inception of corporate vision through to project execution, team formation, management, and mentorship, and all aspects of communications and marketing. Prior to Ground Plan Studio I worked at internationally recognized design, planning, and real estate firms; Bio-Logical Capital, Urban Villages, Andropogon Associates, EDM Environmental Design and Management, WRT Design and Scenic Hudson. I received a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a BS in Plant Science from The University of Delaware. I am a Fulbright Scholar, and have lectured at Harvard, Yale, University of Pennsylvania, Beijing Forestry University, The Agricultural University of Norway and many others. I frequently present at US and international conferences and have been published in several books and magazines.“I believe that a resilient systems approach in our built environment – informed by the pattern and process of nature – will be an economically robust business model of the future.
