About Chad Garrett

Track record of building successful enterprise software sales teams, spanning from smaller rapidly growing companies to large scale businesses. Additionally, experienced in private/public/PE companies. I have more than 20 years of experience in software sales leadership, having served in positions of increasing authority at leading technology organizations including Dataiku, Hortonworks, and TIBCO. Currently, I am Chief Revenue Officer at TetraScience. The role encompasses all elements of enterprise sales; field sales, pre-sales, channels/alliances, inside sales, demand-gen, operations, as well as close coordination with marketing and product engineering.Prior to TetraScience I was CRO at Dataiku, taking the company from $30M ARR to $60M+. Before that role I was the SVP of Sales Strategy at Hortonworks, reporting directly to the CEO/COO/CRO. The role helped me to introduce a new global GTM strategy and a new territory alignment model that enabled the company to increase their revenue target from $189M to $375M. I also enjoyed a nearly 10-year career at TIBCO, where I progressed from Sales Director to VP of Sales, and then ultimately to General Manager & SVP of Sales for TIBCO's Analytics Division - by successfully leading enterprise teams in exceeding sales quotas. In addition to classic sales leadership, I was hand picked to run transformation efforts multiple times in my career, which makes me unique amongst my peers. These efforts round out my senior leadership experiences - ultimately making me a better well rounded sales leader.Lastly, I am a military veteran.
