As a Resident Assistant, I served as a major resource to the students. A few of my roles included: facilitating the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall and University, enforcing the rules and policies of the Residential Living Department and the University, acting as a liaison between residents and the University.

Working closely with the Assistant Director of Academic Transition and Success in the Office of First Year Experiences at Western Carolina University, I was responsible for planning major events/activities/trips, scheduling classes, and ensuring smooth operations for the 2013 summer session.

I processed, sorted, and served packages to students and staff. By working at the Student Mail Center, I obtained strong communication skills by working face-to-face with customers over the counter. I also strengthened my organization skills during the extremely important process of regulating thousands of packages per week.
