Launched and led Climate Tech Finance initiative, a first-of-its-kind project finance program that accelerates low-carbon technologies. Grew the program from initial outreach to an active environmental finance partnerships and from zero clients to pipeline of funded projects. Developed the initiative from a theoretical idea to a proof of concept. Led client engagement, customer development, and iterative learning for this next-generation of innovation products.

Developed and led cross-organizational strategy development projects. In one project, developed region-wide biomass recovery strategy through collaboration with key stakeholders, built internal capacity to implement the strategy, and garnered a reputation as a statewide thought leader in the space. In another project, originated and led strategic translation of a long-range regional air quality and climate protection plan and created an action-oriented implementation framework used by others in the years since. Also led routine planning review and analysis for Federal and State regulations.

Researcher, instructor, and curriculum developer. Led on-campus and community engagement sustainability projects. Built tools for sustainability-based strategic and operational analysis. Modeled supply chains in the recovery and reclamation sectors. Researched organizational sustainability capacity development. Taught courses in organizational change and management, environmental policy, environment & society, geography of food, and energy system design.

Led modeling research on transportation biofuels. Developed original mathematical and computer models to compare life-cycle climate impacts to inform AB 32 and low-carbon fuel standard (LCFS). Competency advanced in biogeochemical modeling and R as a program language.

Conducted research on sustainability practices and organizational agenda formation. Led an experiential learning program and carried out sustainable development projects in the local community. Lectured on sustainability science and environmental policy/management.
