Duties include providing extra mathematic lessons to learners struggling with mathematics, using concrete learning and teaching techniques, by making use of manipulatives. Moreover, designing lesson plans that accommodate learners whom are experiencing di culties in mathematics within the intermediate focus, with a core focus on the existing grade of the intermediate phase. Furthermore, to facilitate mathematics competitions and olympiads by ensuring learners are registered and participate with full competence by guiding members throughout the preparation phase. The development of learning tasks, record keeping of learners progress through item analysis and advicing best methods appropriate to address the learners speci c needs within the mathematics classroom. Lastly, supervision of classes, recordkeeping of attandence, typing of assessments, corresponding with parents etc.
