I thought I’d finally made it.BUT, after 15 years, I was still working 100 hours a week during the busy season.I owned a multi-million dollar business with my brother. We had built the largest Christmas lighting business in Los Angeles with a world-renowned client list.I had my fourth kid on the way…But with no end in sight to a work schedule, this made me an absentee dad for six months.The same thing happened way back 27 years when I was a Rocket Scientist at Boeing/Rocketdyne. I was working on the Space Shuttle Main Engines on a 7 am to 4 pm schedule.I felt like no matter what I did, I was getting the same results.I was working too many hours and sacrificing too much.How would I be able to spend more time with my family?As a way to process difficult decisions and attempt to think more clearly, I began working out.I ended up doing five full-length Ironman races, dozens of half-Ironman races, and several ultramarathon runs.Eventually, I decided to sell my half of the business to my brother and get back into real estate.I had worked for Swinerton Builders for two years prior to Boeing/Rocketdyne and worked in residential construction.I witnessed several successful businessmen who, regardless of what their business was, had made a significant amount of wealth in real estate.In summary, here’s what I’ve done:- I’ve joined different mastermind groups like Entrepreneurs’ Organization, The Real Estate Guys, and RaiseMasters.- I’m an author in the #1 Amazon Best Seller book called The Transformational Journey: Lessons From Business, Life, and Happiness.- I've joined PassiveInvesting.com to bring more passive investments to investors.Now I'm on a mission to help other entrepreneurs, professionals, and high performers find Freedom Through Passive Income.To every active and aspiring investor, whether you're just starting your journey or have been in the game for years, I'm here to share, learn, and grow with you.
