A significant portion of my practice is devoted to assisting individuals, companies, executives, and public officials involved in prosecutions and investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Ohio Attorney General's Office, and county prosecutors throughout Ohio and Kentucky. I also assist clients in responding to subpoenas from government investigators and regulators, including the FBI, the IRS, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Drug Enforcement Administration and state agencies such as the Ohio Auditor’s Office, Ohio Ethics Commission, and Ohio Inspector General. I have served as lead counsel defending white collar cases ranging from ethics and public corruption to health care fraud, bank fraud, government contract fraud, tax fraud, money laundering, and environmental crimes. In addition to my white collar practice, I routinely represent companies and individuals in matters involving a wide variety of commercial litigation, including business and contract disputes, employee theft and embezzlement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and various other complex commercial disputes.
