I have asked myself many times, ‘what is it I really want to achieve from my career’. While I have had many jobs in different organisations, my answer has always been the same ‘I want my clients to walk away feeling chuffed with the service they have received and the investment they have made in their business and mine’.I grew up in an adventurous family, riding bikes, playing sports, exploring beaches, mountains and Australian towns on the family road-trips. With a passion for sport, my senior years at Somerville House saw me as a committed athlete, motivated to achieve my goals in waterpolo, swimming and javelin. This commitment taught me discipline, a strong sense of teamwork, individual challenge and an understanding of the importance of support of others in achieving my goals.On completion of year 12, I was offered a hairdressing apprenticeship with the iconic Stefans. I believe my strong work ethic stems from the education, encouragement and expected level of professionalism experienced during these 4 years. I learnt to listen to my clients, understand their needs and realised early on, providing exceptional customer service rewarded me with loyal clientele and recognition amongst my peers. These values are the backbone of who I am today.My adventure continued when I won a trip to London via a fundraising competition for Surf Lifesaving Australia. After 2 years working and travelling UK and Europe, I returned to Brisbane with a new independence. An offer from a friend started my career in administration which has spanned over 20 years, the last 8 years as an accomplished executive assistant in a top 30 ASX company. I offer my clients strong leadership in executive support and coordination, customer relations and organisational efficiency. I place value in getting to know my clients, their business, their current difficulties and needs and what they want to achieve going forward. I am very aware that my success is based on the success of others.
