Key team member for the development of Toronto Water's GIS strategy. Responsibilities included gathering and consolidating user requirements; research of leading practices within the water utility industry and reaching out to peers; and the development of guiding principles, objectives and road map. Developed VBA and Python tools for automated digitization of records. Developed a staged framework for digitally transforming the City's water service connections data capturing and digitization process. Performed GIS based hydrologic analysis of urban watersheds and overland routes, leveraging the City's elevation model to support flood risk analysis and preventative maintenance.

Thornhill, Canada

Coordinated the development of a Water and Wastewater Asset Management Plan for our municipal client. This project included the development of a comprehensive geospatial inventory; advanced network analysis and successful introduction of ESRI’s “Water Utility Network Editing and Analysis” workflows and tool set; Assessment of condition and replacement costs for the city’s linear water and wastewater infrastructure; development of a risk-based prioritization model; and risk simulation over a period of 25 years testing varying funding scenarios. Developed a database for the asset identification, condition assessment and asset management planning for our client's Transfer Stations, Closed Landfill Sites and Maintenance Yards. The project included the development of the inventory database, application of full life cycle models and asset management strategies, and short and long term capital planning.Developed various additional databases for condition assessments and capital reinvestment needs; designed several field data collection applications using ESRI’s suite of mobile apps, for asset management and transportation planning related projects.
