Sales Leader with nearly 20 years of experience in technology sales with 4 of them being a People Leader. I am passionate about building teams, coaching, mentoring, building culture, driving business outcomes and being customer focused. My experience has been in private and public sector including Enterprise, State, Local, Education and Healthcare. Most recently I have been tasked with building a SLED Sales organization at a security start up. I am most proud of being named a Culture Champion, doubling the size of the sales team and helping my team close the largest deal in the company and in SLED history during FY22. I spent nearly 17 years at Cisco with the final 3 years leading the North Carolina sales team. I was able to successfully grow the North Carolina team to a 10-member team of account managers with $160M+ in annual revenue. I was able to create new pathways for the sales team by implementing 2 new statewide contracts. The first contract was the Cisco NC 204X contract (up to $500M over 5 years). And the second was the Cisco NC DPI Erate contract (up to $200M over 10 years). Major accomplishments as an individual contributor were being named to the Cisco Sales Hall of Fame and being recognized as a five-time Cisco Sales Champion. My Family is my “why.” My wife, two teenage kids and three dogs are my motivation to challenge myself and get better every day.
