Starting and selling my first business (ControlYours.com), did a lot to help me understand what works and what doesn't with how you interact with the public. I'm nowhere close to being a master in any one area of business yet, but I'm fine tuning the art of lateral thinking! I really enjoy the challenge of fixing a problem within a business...stepping back to find and remove the failure excuses, misdirection & bottlenecks, then looking at the whole thing from a different angle. I choose to sidestep traditional forms of "Problem Solving" (ie. You'll get more business if you triple your ad budget, hire that expensive Marketing Team, or be on the radio more...) to find a solution that's custom to you.This refined approach to business is becoming more apparent in my new companies and how we're doing financially.Do other people think I'm good at this sort of alternative thinking thing?
