Operations engineer for hydroprocessing units - Naptha Hydrotreating Unit, Continuous Catalytic ReformerRole responsibilities- Heat & Material Balance, Product yields, Catalyst performance monitoring, - Turnaround & Inspection team – Reforming, - HAZOP review of process for unit modifications through Management of Change- Team member for various JHA activities, OSHA PSM implementation- Supervise and follow implementation of safety procedures and processes in the fields- Mitigate process emergencies and emergency shutdown- Maintain shift logs for respective area/equipment-Follow up with Field executive and maintenance executive to expedite maintenance activities and safe HOTO of equipment- Participating in improvement activities and providing the input/feedback to the superiors for the continual Improvement in the Plant performance, safe operations and ease of operations- Provide field supervision for shutdown, startup, and preservation- Preparation of daily reports on the Plant performance highlights, raw material, and utility consumption reports.Skills & Competencies- Problem-solving and analytical ability- People management skills- Planning and decision-making skills- Good communication skills- Teamwork and leadership skills- Good technical skills
