To the first bricklayer, Christopher Wren asked the question, “What are you doing?” to which the bricklayer replied, “I’m a bricklayer. I’m working hard laying bricks to feed my family.” The second bricklayer, responded, “I’m a builder. I’m building a wall.” But the third brick layer, the most productive of the three and the future leader of the group, when asked the question, “What are you doing?” replied with a gleam in his eye, “I’m a cathedral builder. I’m building a great cathedral.”Build commitmentA traveler, hungry and exhausted, enters a poor village and is initially refused food, but he cleverly proposes making a stone soup using a magical stone he has, enticing the villagers to contribute their own ingredients. The soup's delightful aroma and taste bring the curious neighbors and villagers together, and they all share the communal pot of soup. The traveler eventually reveals that the stone itself holds no special power, and the soup's delicious taste comes from the combined ingredients. The villagers realize the importance of sharing and cooperating, leading to a happier community.
