I have more than 15 years of extensive experience in philanthropy, evaluating programs, managing complex projects, and strategizing ways to maximize impact. Working with family foundations, corporate foundations, and independent foundations, I have helped clients in all stages of their development, from setting up a new grantmaking program to crafting a legacy plan when a foundation sunsets. Along the way, I have guided foundation trustees in creating and fine-tuning their impact measurement systems and exploring new innovations. I have expertise in early childhood education and youth development for diverse populations, as well as well-versed in best practices in supporting immigrant and refugee groups, civic engagement, and workforce development.

One of six members selected for Associated Grant Makers’ Diversity Fellowship, a competitive 9-month program that provides advanced training and education in philanthropy and grant making. Among many projects, I was responsible for grantmaking for The Hyams Foundation’s Teen Development strategy, conducted research and crafted draft guidelines for the Foundation’s new strategic program area focused on impacting youth that have dropped out of school and are unemployed, and researched grantmaking in Massachusetts’ communities of color.
