We’ve learned as much from the projects we have been apart of that failed as we have from the successes and we’ve now been blessed to have reached a point in our careers where the failures aren’t forgotten, but they’re fortunately far behind us.Schott was born in Florida, but raised in the Midwest. He began working at just 14 washing dishes at the neighborhood steak house; later learning to bartend in college at 19. Arriving back here in 2005 with only $1,000 and no car he would walk to the little Rock & Roll bar in Ft. Lauderdale he helped open; by the time they’d expanded twice he’d worked his way to a bike and then to a proper vehicle. Management was a perfect fit and when jobs became scarce he learned Marketing to stay ahead of the game; when his designer quit unexpectedly he taught himself graphic design and when it came time to build his own bar he packed up his tools and made it happen. That’s just the kind of man he is.
