Responsibilities:- Proficient in designing, interpreting, installing, wiring, and diagnosing/troubleshooting circuits for diverse applications, including AC and DC electrical motor systems, overhead cranes, transformers, standby plant systems, generators, domestic installations, and lighting systems.- Skilled in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery, with expertise in fire system safety marshalling.- Ensure compliance with statutory Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and regulatory requirements such as IMS by meticulously closing out paperwork on SAP.- Diligently adhere to worksite safety protocols, promptly reporting any potential hazards to mitigate risks.- Minimise machine failure risks by upholding stringent quality and safety standards during maintenance activities and risk-based inspections.- Collaborate effectively with contractors, overseeing and participating in the inspection and commissioning of electrical projects.- Strategically review work plans, considering high-priority defects, production targets, plant availability, unplanned maintenance, and spare part availability.- Work closely with engineers to evaluate protection systems for plant and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.- Plan and execute the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with specifications and relevant codes.- Ensure all sectional documentations meet IMS standards (ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001) and are compliant, updated, and accurate ahead of audits.

Responsibilities:- Proficient in repairing and maintaining a variety of electrical machines, including AC induction motors, DC motors, power generators, diesel generators, and transformers.- Experienced in working with conveyor systems, PLC systems, VFD systems, pump motor systems, and overhead bridge cranes, ensuring their optimal functionality.- Diligently worked under the strict supervision of senior electricians to acquire and refine skills and knowledge essential to the trade.

Responsibilities:- Completed a 3-month attachment at Bulawayo Western Region Nketa Customer Service Centre and a subsequent 4-month attachment at the Protection Department.- Under the guidance of a qualified electrician or technician engaged in fault diagnostics for domestic and industrial settings, maintenance of distribution systems, transformers, LV power lines, and LV/HV substations.- Conducted routine inspections and performed tasks such as auto recloser operations, calibration of protection systems, injection tests, and transformer acceptance tests, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
