With over 12 years of extensive experience in engineering, I bring deep expertise across a range of industries, including coal and wind power plant operations and maintenance, tire manufacturing, wastewater treatment, RO plants, and five-star hotel construction. My academic background includes a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, a HNDE in Electrical, and a Diploma in IT. I am also an active member of esteemed professional bodies such as AM(IESL) and Associate Engineer (ECSL).I am currently expanding my knowledge with a Master of Science in Energy for Circular Economy (MECE) at the University of Peradeniya, with the aim of becoming a leading professional in driving sustainable energy solutions. Additionally, I am pursuing an LL.B at the Open University of Sri Lanka to gain a comprehensive understanding of the legal frameworks shaping the future of the energy sector.Throughout my career, I have held roles of increasing responsibility, from hands-on positions as an O&M Engineer in wind power plants to leadership as an Operation and Maintenance Electrical Superintendent in coal power plants. I have successfully implemented preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, optimizing plant performance and minimizing downtime. These experiences have refined my technical expertise, enhanced my problem-solving capabilities, and strengthened my leadership skills. I have also been instrumental in managing the operation, maintenance, procurement, and tendering processes for wastewater treatment and RO plants, as well as contributing to the rehabilitation of luxury hotel projects.With a strong passion for continuous learning and a commitment to excellence, I am eager to embrace global opportunities in dynamic environments that foster innovation and growth.
