My interests and involvements are mostly in computer networks and network services. The DNS and Domain registration system of the .lk CCTLD has been maintained by me since 2005. Other than the technical experience I have academic experience as well. I have been working as a visiting lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering department, University of Moratuwa. My teaching area is computer networks for level 3/level 4 engineering undergraduates (CS303/CS445). I have conducted lectures in web/ dns / configuration for workshops organized by Computer science & engineering society, University of Moratuwa.Localization is also one of my interesting area. I have been working on this since 2004. I was a member of software localization committee for mozilla thanderbird and firefox ( Done by ACCIMT) and LAKapps(www.lakapps.lk) project. I have compiled a Sinhala Term list for Computer GUIs and presented at International IT conference of CSSL in 2005. I have been working as a consultant for IT Localization projects of ICTA (www.icta.lk) since 2006. I'm a member of LLWG (Local Language Working Group) and IDN-Working group of ICTA - Sri LankaSpecialties: Server configuration (WEB - Apache/,Xamp, Mail - qmail,sendmail, postfix, DNS - BIND, Proxy - Squid), Networking, Computer Application Localization, Internet bandwidth management in proxy servers.
