I am a people person- I am a very outgoing and social person and I feed off being around others who are driven. I have always had a knack for taking care of people and trying to make those around me happy. This drive to help others is and was my driving force behind going to culinary school. They always say the way to someone's heart is through their stomach and I firmly believe in that. With all that being said, however, I also am an outdoor enthusiast. I grew up with parents who were outfitters and their love for nature was something they instilled in me. Being outside promotes being active, and being active promotes being healthy; my passion for cooking and my love for being active and healthy only naturally lead me to health care. Working in the medical field for the last few years has given me the opportunity to see really just how true my passion for caring for others really is. I love the patient interaction- it's the best part of my day. And with our very intricate healthcare system knowing that I aid in helping others get the healthcare they need is a wonderful feeling.
