Researched on judicial grounds for invalidating the invocation of Bank Guarantee in contravention to agreed terms and conditions in the Principal Agreement, enforceability of ‘exclusion of liability’ clause in relation to fraud in commercial agreements in India, applicability of the doctrine of promissory estoppel in a dispute concerning tax holiday schemes for start-ups; compensation for acquisition of land by the government; sunset review investigation of anti-dumping duty and extension therein on the imports of products from China.

Researched on committees required to be appointed by a public company pursuant to applicable laws; the conflict between economic sustainability and environmental sustainability with respect to burning of pet coke by industries in the vicinity of Taj Trapezium; the stamp duty levied on transfer of shares between companies/entities located in two states; and the obligation of the States under International law with respect to Rohingya Refugee Crisis and fetters on Central government in guaranteeing them rights under Constitution of India

Researched on the efficacy of summary trials under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 for speedily disposal of dishonor of cheques under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881; assisted in recording of submissions and witness’ cross examination in arbitration proceedings on contractual disputes; researched on enforceability of an exclusive jurisdiction clause and arbitration agreement prescribed in a standard form contract of service, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996; the anomaly in the definition of ‘child’ in applicable laws, and worked on the interpretation of statutory rape of minor wives (Section 375(explanation), Indian Penal Code, 1860)) in line with judicial position held under Independent Thought v. Union of India.

Researched on the mandate of conciliatory process over Family courts before conducting the proceedings and its actual compliance; filed application for and collected certified copies of the relevant orders and judgments from the registry office; and researched on the need for a legal framework for compensation in cases of land acquisition by the government for industrial development and creation of land banks.

Researched on the necessity of direct committal of cases to the magistrate under the offences committed under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985; researched on the computation of compensation for redressal of victims under Consumer Protection Act, 1986 and researched on validity of cheques issued under duress under section 138, Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
