It is because of FGCU's BSW program, and past experiences, that I am confident in the fact that I will be a social worker that can not only advocate for their clients and their struggle, but advocate for them personally. I know that as a social worker, when I am faced with a task that seems unbearable or impossible- I will persevere. I also feel confidently that I will aspire to work closely with my colleagues. As I have also learned, that being an effective social worker requires a community. A community of others who work closely for the good of those they are serving.
