• Ensured vessel/s comply with all relevant rules & regulations with special emphasis on the ISM code, the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001:2004 standard as well as a flag state, port state and the industry's special requirements.
• Co-operating with the Floating staff for reviewing the specification for dry-docking and preparing schedules and budgets for all Dry-dockings, Major Repairs and Technical Projects accordingly
• Observing the technological developments and introduction of new regulations/amendments and maintain/update the vessels accordingly.

• Delivery Chief Engineer officer in Aurora NB vessels to monitor vessels are operating as per the company policy and in view of improvements, modification and implementation.
• Head of the Engineering Department and senior member of the vessel’s Shipboard Management Committee.
• Full in charge of vessel technical, budget control, stock review and safety of the vessel.
• Ensured Company Policies, Procedures, SMS and PARPOL full compliance.
• Record and report any undesired events, unsafe practices or near-accidents to the Master and arrange to rectify them.
• Co-ordinate and be responsible for all repairs in all departments onboard in accordance with the planned maintenance system.
