Technical Inspection And Corrosion Engineer
Current- Plan, organize and execute the preventive maintenance of inspection works for all stationary equipment (vessel, heat-exchanger, tank, piping, safety valve and rupture disk) including identifying risk priority of the equipment to meet standard codes (ASME, API, PED, etc.) and Thai regulations for all plants in MTP.- Provide technical knowledge of all stationary equipment including coordinate with Mechanical & Production teams to solve problems for maintenance, modification, repairing and to ensure the equipment meet standard codes and Thai regulations.- Issue, review and approve the welding procedure, specifications and examination & test procedures of all stationary equipment for maintenance, modification, repairing, and inspection according to standard codes and Thai regulations.- Maintain and approve a QA/QC system for nondestructive test and destructive test (Visual, PT, MT, RT, Hydro test, etc.) of inspection works to ensure the equipment meet quality standard.- Supervise, coordinate with 3rd parties inspectors of non-destructive test and destructive test including be the witness for the test and provide inspection reports to Technical & Production teams according to standard codes and Thai regulations.- Coordinate and involve with project teams to verify and approve on QA/QC steps to ensure the quality of the work process steps for new pressure vessel that will be conformed with Covestro standard, International code and Thai requirement including to its integrity after it has been placed in-service.- Investigate the problems root cause of stationary equipment and recommend to Technical & Production teams based on measurement & inspection result to provide the correction action.- Part of global sub group of corrosion engineer improving polycarbonate plant.- Review, update for PM plan in Meridium, Inspection report, Work Instruction, Work Procedure in Documentum database to ensure all are updated according to Covestro standard.
