Chief Equity Officer
Current- Responsible for ensuring that equity is integrated into BRC's program model, organizational culture, stakeholder outreach, and business dealings with the aim of fulfilling its vision to be a model social justice.
- Oversee professional development tailored to working, managing, and leading in an organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Partner with HR to ensure staff recruitment meets BRC's diversity hiring goals the ultimate aim of which is to have BRC staff at all levels reflect the diversity of its client base.
- Partner with the Executive Management Team to ensure that staff retention and promotion are equitable.
- Ensure effective training and programming that recognizes the influence of race and identity on staff and clients how it strengthens BRC's effectiveness to build authentic relationships with clients.
- Guide the vendor procurement budget of more than $25 million consistent with DEI values.
