Hello and thanks for viewing my profile!I am an ecological and natural resource restoration professional. I have a BS in Ecology and Field Biology and have spent the last four and a half years working in the natural resource field. I've spent the majority of that time out in the field actively managing native and invasive plant populations. I love this field and strongly appreciate my ability to go out and spend my days in nature. I like to think that the forest is my office.I thoroughly enjoy prescribed burning and have hundreds of hours of experience, including prep work, mop up, control, and igniting. I have thousands of hours of experience running power saws such as brush cutters, chain saws, and power pole pruners. Most of that experience is in tree felling and brush control. I have the same level of experience mixing and applying herbicides such as triclopyr, glyphosate, and clopyralid, as well as many other common invasive control chemicals. All of this experience would be wasted if I didn't know the plants I was working with, I have spent much of my education and my work experience learning to identify both native and invasive plant species. I hope I can continue to serve our community by protecting and improving our wild spaces and I'd love to hear about anything I can do to help you or your company do the same!
