Organized and detail-oriented Cabinet Mechanic with 18+ years of experience ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction . rWorking at Architecture Accents I had the opportunity and the privilege to know and work with John Kendall to learn not only the ins and outs of cabinet making but also lessons to help me in all areas of life. Having the owner John teach me that someone can start a business in a small shop , and make it into a respectable business that is successful and an asset to the community. As well as my main foreman Mike who I trusted in advice on cabinets , cars , fishing, and all areas of life. I worked for Architectural Accents for over 18 years when I started I had no real experience but was ready to learn and gave my all to it. When I went through my separation from the mother of my son working for this company probably saved my life. My boss let me work over time helping me to keep my mind occupied and to make sure I had the means to pay child support and make sure I had a home where my son had a room where ever I was regardless of my relationship with his mother. John and Mike treated me with respect and unconditional support that you don't see at most big companies. They taught me to be more responsible and that my actions had consequences. I found myself go from a struggling boy in his early 20's to a man in his mid 40's that was more grounded and mature with 18 years of experience in Cabinet making. I separated from Architectural Accents November 2022, my landlord had raised my rent to over $1,000 a month after awhile I found myself using my savings account to pay rent and bills because the cost of living had seemed to double in 2022..After a few months I realized I was sinking I got depressed I honestly loved my job. But couldn't afford to work there and have enough to pay for the cost of living after Covid

Master Cabinet Maker And Warehouse Storage ManagerArchitectural Accents, Llc Mar 2003 - Nov 2022Richmond, Virginia, United StatesI was with the same company over 18 years and had the pleasure of working with two of the men I respect most in my life. The owner John started the company and built a small cabinet shop into a designer shop where we designed and built cabinets for some of the most prestige places in Richmond. The reason I am now seeking new employment is the owner /boss is retiring. So its time for me to move forward and commit myself to the next opportunity that comes to me. I believe that when one door closes another opens. I don't just try to get something done I get it done. A leader knows their skills and also knows when to delegate if they know someone else can do something better. -
