I am a driven individual. All throughout my life, I've played sports, I fell in love with the comradery and brotherhood that my teammates and I had through competing with each other. I also fell in love with my competitive nature and this drove me to want to be the best at anything I did. These two qualities led me to develop an amazing work ethic and earn a scholarship to play basketball at a collegiate level. At the same time, I never believed that I was going to play sports professionally, so I've applied this work ethic to my past work experiences as well. I worked for Defy, a trampoline park in Birmingham. I started out at minimum wage doing simple tasks. Because of my professionalism and work ethic that was short-lived and I was then a part of the sales team. After the first month of being on the sales team, I got a pay raise because of my performance. I carried my competitive nature over to work by keeping a live tally of my sales and competing with other coworkers, I also won free tickets to a concert at Iron City for my sales over a 3 month period. I was also responsible for handling transactions and customer service. I have also started my internship at ServisFirst Bank where I intern for the Loan Officers and bank executives. This has been one of my most eye opening experiences. It's given me the opportunity to look into multitudes of businesses and their financials and provided an amazing learning experience.
