I spent the last 12 years as Chief Operating Officer at YNAB, which continues to be an incredible force for good, helping people across the world take control of their money and love how they spend it. It was my privilege to oversee all things operations as we grew from a 10-person company to a mature organization nearing 200. I’m convinced that we built the greatest team on earth, which may very well be my professional life’s best work. As COO, I lead the work and teams over People Operations, Finance, Legal, and B2B Sales. Everything from internal systems and processes, to financial controls, to international law, to a LOT of HR. But my biggest passion and impact was found in creating an amazing work experience for our team, creating a second-to-none culture, hiring *incredible* people, and creating a well-run organization that retained them. After YNAB, I’m now focused on having an even greater impact on the world by helping other business leaders and their teams to create great workplaces, operate more effectively, and provide world-class team experiences that attract and retain top-tier people. I consult on many aspects of Operations, but have a particular passion for coaching organizations to craft processes to attract and then hire just the right people for their teams.If I can help your organization, reach out and we’ll see if it’s a fit.
