An Educational Leader with over 20 years of experience and a proven track record in building effective relationships required to support and manage complex educational issues with a focus on student achievement. I have served at all levels, beginning in a middle school classroom and advancing to leadership positions at the district and state levels. My current role as a consultant has allowed me to fully engage with the superintendent, Governing Board, and senior leadership to foster the academic and operational support necessary for organizational transformation.

Assessed the needs district wide and authentic to each middle and high school by monitoring the implementation of the state’s academic standards for the Social Studies and SC College and Career Ready Standards for English Language Arts (SCCCR) for curricula improvement; analyzed and integrated district and state assessment data for developing training and curricula support materials; administered and trained school instructional coordinators, curriculum specialists and other leaders in methods for implementing and maintaining effective instruction and assessment of the state’s academic standards for Social Studies; coordinate and provide leadership and technical assistance services through district professional development addressing the state’s academic standards for Social Studies and the SCCCR in accordance with district and State statutes.
