Currently leading an amazing team of fundraising and communications professionals as we continue to exceed annual fundraising goals (5% surplus in 2020-2021) and increase community engagement in our schools' mission. Since 2017, I have developed a strong major donor program to strengthen relationships with our donors and increase their investment in our schools (100% retention; 20% new income in 2020-2021). I am leading the fundraising and communications efforts of our strategic initiative to increase annual fundraising by $1 million by 2025. I enthusiastically serve on Gateway Public Schools' senior leadership team, supporting and guiding staff development, finance, and organizational growth.

While serving as Interim ED for 9 months, I managed a talented team dedicated to achieving the vision and mission of the organization, and ensured the continued advocacy and mission-driven work of Seven Tepees. This role was held in conjunction with my existing role as development director.As Development Director, I managed all aspects of the organization's strategic fundraising activities, including individual donors, events, institutional grants, and trustee giving. From 2015-2017, I grew the annual peer-to-peer fundraising event income by 300%, the annual gala income by 40%, and launched the Ambassador Board to engage a new demographic of energized and committed young professionals. In 2016 I led a rebranding of the organization, including a new logo and website, and the development of a style guide and new collateral. I conceptualized, wrote and published annual reports, newsletters, and direct mail campaigns, and managed social media and media coverage.

Managed the fundraising strategies and activities of the Annual Fund campaign, exceeding annual income and participation goals for three years. Created and implemented a year-round program of events for SF Friends alumni. Joined the ABADO professional fundraisers group and hosted networking events for other fundraising and alumni managers.

Mentorship Program Goals: To strengthen the skills of the Mentee and support professional and career development by identifying and working on specific areas of his or her practice; To enhance the professional abilities of participating Mentors through their efforts in guiding and coaching; To foster collegial relationships between seasoned development professionals and those newer to the field; To provide mid-level professionals with the opportunity to expand their skill set to new areas of development; and to increase networking opportunities and the sharing of best practices amongst the Bay Area fundraising community to better promote philanthropy both locally and globally.
