As a mechanical engineer with a bachelor's degree from REVA University, I have gained hands-on experience in engineering operations and maintenance in a FDA regulated pharmaceutical plant (API) at Kumar Organic Products Limited (KOPL), where I have been working since Feb 2022.I am responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and controlling engineering operations and preventive maintenance activities on plant and machinery, ensuring their availability and reliability. I also handle GMP related audits, shutdown planning and execution, and capex and opex management across sites. I have contributed to the harmonization of engineering documents (QMS-Change control, Deviation, CAPA, etc) to implement cGMP and GEP standards, and to the reduction of costs by leading negotiations with vendors and providing inputs to alternate equipment during brown field projects. I am inclined towards achieving assigned deliverables within given time frame with utmost quality of work.
