➢ Prepare non-conformance and surveillance reports applicable to HVAC installation work. ➢ Monitor and verify HVAC equipment preservation during Construction stage. ➢ Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of codes such as the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning each Suppliers National Association (SMACNA) Codes, Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 90A, ASHRAE Handbooks and/or equivalent standards. ➢ Verification and monitoring of contractor and subcontractor's quality control activities for HVAC equipment installation during erection. ➢ Review all contractors' equipment installation ITP's and Procedures. ➢ Conduct visual inspection of HVAC installation in progress to verify compliance with design drawings and relevant specification. ➢ Check and supervise inspection of layouts and installations of HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, Filters, Louvers, VAV's Packaged and Split AC's, Pumps, Fan Chillers, Coolant Piping, Refrigerant Piping, Hangers and Supports, including all duct work to ensure compliance with design. ➢ Performing materials receiving inspection such as HVAC ducts, Copper pipe/Tube, Dampers, ACCU’s, Dx Split, AHU’s, PACU, VRF Unit, VAV/CAV, Vent. FAN, Duct and Piping Insulation, etc. ➢ Identifying the HVAC materials as per the standard drawings and project specification. ➢ Witnessing & Inspection of the installation of HVAC Equipment. ➢ Monitoring/Survival of inspection for storage, stacking, and handling of fittings and consumables including verification of temperature conditions. ➢ Inspection for packaging/loading for transportation to site for installation. ➢ Reviewing and closing NCR materials prior to installation for damaged, cracks, crushing, etc. ➢ Performing routinely inspection for package air conditioning unit, fan coil unit, ceiling & wall mounted dx split AC for their compressors, steam humidifiers, fan coil and controls. ➢ Installation Inspection of MSFD/FD, VCD as per SMACNA standards.
