As a Board Member of the Committee on Scientific Issues (CSI) within the American Medical Association Medical Student Section (AMA-MSS), I play a pivotal role in shaping the scientific landscape and advocating for evidence-based policies. Working in the Region 3 Medical Student Section of the American Medical Association (AMA-MSS) to edit legislation resolutions put forward by students within the AMA-MSS to present peer-reviewed resolutions at the Annual and Interim Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates and other advocacy conferences.

NephSIM Nephrons is a global program that hand selects trainees from across the world to participate in monthly virtual educational events and career panels to create a tailored nephrology learning experience for trainees and provide mentorship and networking opportunities.

As an elected member of the MS1 Student Senate, I work to represent the needs of my class to the school and work to create lasting changes to benefit the student body. Responsibilities include meeting every 2-3 weeks along with general meetings twice quarterly to oversee subcommittee decisions, relay information to SOM Senior leadership and vice versa.
