Nate M. Chandler graduated from Cal Poly Tech in Pomona and currently, Senior to Staff level Mechanical Engineer and a California Professional Engineer (PE). He's currently enrolled in a master's program at the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) in Space Mission Engineering/Management. Nate has a breadth of experience in aerospace and defense, commercial product development with skills ranging from core engineering functions like thermal analysis, structural stress analysis, systems engineering, model-based engineering (MBE), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), system verification. He's been a pivotal leader in all aspects of business organizations from startups to large corporations, such as R&D, Engineering, operations, supply chain management, customer applications engineering, customer requirements development, winning $1.0M-$260M proposal efforts, project management, lead engineering, and director of operations for a startup company responsible for engineering and software development.Nate has consulted for companies in the commercial and military defense sector like, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Rockwell Collins, Lockheed-Martin, BEA Systems, Raytheon, Aerojet, United Technologies, Boeing and Honeywell. Additional, Mr. Chandler has worked for High-Tech clients such as HP, Intel, Cisco, and Allen Bradley.Chandler has proposed, designed, analyzed, validated and implemented thermal management systems and structural solutions from small integrated circuits (ICs), laser diodes, aircraft avionics, radars systems, enterprise servers, rack and stack TELCO/Computer systems for major data centers and network operation centers (NOCs), to primary aircraft structures and human spacecraft like Starliner. Some of the exciting technology he’s worked on over his career included lasers, optics, turbines, high efficiency solar cells for satellites, miniature motors/gearbox systems, aircraft power distribution systems, carbon fiber composite materials, critical seal design, explosive devices, and rocket engine fuel systems.Early in his career, he worked in a M.E. firm performing design work for HVAC, chilled water, Piping and Installation Drawings/Diagrams (P&IDs), title 24 energy management. Nate also, work at the Bechtel Power Corporation where he performed stress analysis for pipe systems at the Palos Verde and Vogtle (Vō-gῠl) nuclear generating stations.
