Hello! I'm Chandler Anderson, a Virginia Tech student who will join KPMG as an Advisory Associate for State and Local Government Solutions.I'm currently majoring in Business Information Technology at Virginia Tech with a concentration in Decision Support Systems and a minor in Data and Decisions. I anticipate graduating in December 2024. With a GPA of 3.83/4.00, I've been dedicated to mastering the intricacies of my field and honing my analytical skills.During the summer of 2023, I had the privilege of interning at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond as a Continuous Process Improvement Intern. Here, I co-founded a data visualization competition, engaging over 40 participants, both interns and full-time employees. My experience included hands-on work with data analysis tools like Tableau and Power BI, as well as setting up Google Analytics environments to track search engine analytics. I was also selected to present my internship experience to the Board of Governors, a testament to my dedication and contribution to my team.In addition to my internship, I served as a Project Manager at the Consulting Group at Virginia Tech. My previous consulting experience involves leading strategic and market research projects for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations and collaborating on reports about emerging technologies and business strategies.I am proficient in a wide range of technical tools and skills, including Tableau, Power BI, Jira, Python, Java, R, Visual Basic, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office suite.I'm committed to continuous learning, innovation, and making a positive impact in the world of business and technology.
