Lead architect for our Information Data Platform initiative using the ELK stack to advance our logging capabilities from traditional fixed capacities with structured data, to a scalable solution that supports multiple data types; ultimately allowing for the democratization of data for our customers.Wrote and implemented Golang microservices to facilitate communication between Grafana and Zabbix to allow dynamic dashboard creation and customization by line of business users for their infrastructure and applications.Built performance monitoring tool suite leveraging the Zabbix proxy to acquire information every few seconds, allowing for performance monitoring teams to monitor infrastructure and schedule monitoring dynamically with sharing of results.Created custom scripts that leverage the Pivotal Cloud Foundry(PCF) API to pull PCF metrics in to the Zabbix solution. This is combined with JMX monitoring to get a full image of application and infrastructure metrics surrounding our PCF environment.Created an in house web front-end utility using Meteor and blaze/reactJS named IRIS; to display the collected Zabbix metrics for our 24/7 support teams in the form of event consoles and a dashboard utility allowing business users to see their application metrics. This resulted in the ability to end a contract with our prior software provider worth approximately $40 million.Design and deployment of open source Zabbix monitoring utility on a global scale; actively monitoring thousands of new values per second to provide immediate response for IT support teams as well as LOB support.Custom Golang script creation for integration within existing open source solutions to allow for expanded functionality.Python maintenance and development for an integrated wall monitor to display the company's global IT infrastructure status in real time for our 24/7 support teams.
