About Chandler Sizer

As a Business Development Engineer, Chandler brings a unique perspective to the Gilero sales and marketing team with her technical background. In this role, she translates customer needs and product requirements into engineering project plans to ensure customer satisfaction. Chandler has a passion for bridging the gap between medicine and engineering to improve healthcare through medical device innovation. Chandler graduated from Clemson University in 2020 with a BS in Bioengineering. During her time at Clemson, she participated in a leadership program, gained research experience, worked on design projects, and discovered her interest in Human Factors. Chandler then went on to earn her MS in Biomedical Engineering in the joint program between North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. With curriculum split between engineering and MBA courses, she came out of her master’s program knowledgeable about both the technical and business sides to medical device development and commercialization. In her free time, Chandler enjoys dance fitness, coffee shops and wine bars.

MUSC hosted 13 Clemson Bioengineering students down in Charleston, providing the facilities and faculty for clinical shadowing, which allowed students to identify opportunities for innovation within the medical field.
