As a Data Intern, I help track student outcomes to ensure Fellows are on their way to successful careers. I am able to exercise my professional skills in data collection, analysis, critical thinking, and project planning while gaining an understanding of how a successful nonprofit organization operates.

A computational inorganic chemistry laboratory that uses High-Performance Computing to model the chemical behavior and structure of inorganic compounds. My focus is on spin-crossover, single-chain nanoparticle metallopolymers, and advanced oxidation processes.I am using computational chemistry techniques (density functional theory) to simulate the incorporation of spin-crossover behavior into model single-chain nanoparticle systems.Also, I am currently developing a Choose Your Own Adventure-style game to help students apply the concepts learned in general chemistry in a practical setting.

A craft business that creates customized tumblers, shirts, and shadowboxes for over 100 customers. I have provided branding services for over 15 small businesses in the Greater Houston area, and am constantly working to expand my clientele and perfect my craft. At the Y, I was a youth mentor, responsible for facilitating recreational activities that engage & educate 10-30 elementary school-aged students while maintaining COVID-safe protocols. I was also tasked with fostering and exemplifying the YMCA’s Five Core Values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, Faith, & Responsibility. I have built trusting relationships with students and parents daily, while actively listening to concerns and ensuring conflicts were resolved in a manner that teaches the children to communicate healthily.
