• Owns and responsible for preparing a response to RFP’s, and RFI’s from receipt through completion.-Study and understanding of composite part drawings,-Estimation of bill of materials, consumables required for production-Estimation of tooling and manufacturing requirements,Estimation of manufacturing and quality hours.• Communicating with finance dept to get the actual rates of the facilities and incorporating the same in the proposals.• Establish standard manufacturing, quality, design and cycle times.• Provide marketing technical support and assistance to field representatives related to the proposal process• Responsible for accurate, timely response and generation of new business.• Participating in conference calls with the customer.• Good understanding of the Bid or Proposal Management process• Finalizing the proposals along with the concerned departments• Active participation in visits to ensure customer / prospect visit objectives are met

• Responsible for the RFQ from the stage of booking to sending quotes to marketing department.• Estimation of cycle time for the component and preparing costing sheet.• Checking new enquires for feasibility of manufacturing.• Discussing Technical Aspects among team Members to regularize process plan & product cost.• Discussing Feasibility, Process & Technical issues with the other department.• Preparing raw material details & sending the same to Purchase Dept to get budgetary raw material cost.• Participating in conference calls with the customer.• Sending enquiries to the vendors to get quotation for special process like Surface treatment, heat treatment & Deep hole drilling process etc.• Communicating with supplier as per customer specifications. • Discussing Tooling aspects with the Tool designer & Preparing Tooling cost for each component.• Preparing Cost Breakdown sheet as per customer requirement
