Upon transitioning into Human Resources, I have shown talent for program development and implementation, setting up procedures, creating and sending email communications, and working with vendor management. I appreciate the support I provide helping others have a positive employment experience. I also have experience as a corporate training specialist where I assisted new hires in the Customer Service department in learning their position so they can succeed in their role. I deliver training regularly, revise courses and create/update training materials. I successfully collaborate with colleagues in various departments to work towards the company goals. Prior to those 2 roles, I spent 12 years as a Career Counselor, where I successfully helped students navigate the career development and job/internship search process. I met with students individually and in groups, and designed and delivered presentations. I’ve coordinated student peer advisor programs, managed their hiring, onboarding, ongoing supervision and offboarding. I’ve worked with survey results, analyzing data, and writing summary reports. I’ve led various projects resulting in events or manuals to aid student or staff development.
