Current* Program Manager (Agile, Scrum) Honorary• Development of a detailed strategy, proposal, program plan to deal with “Simultaneous Power Loss and Extreme Temperature” (SPLET) disasters in a concerted, pre planed, tested and optimized manner at the national and zonal level so that same set of solutions, specially designed equipment and trained personnel can all be used across the country in multiple disasters, through pre-established zonal centers to achieve significant saving and make the solution an economically attractive proposition. (Note: * Independent research on the topic from May 2023 and with cool soft team from Nov 2023).• Evaluation of national preparedness, importance and viability of delivering an effective preparedness and response system to manage “Simultaneous Power Loss and Extreme Temperature” (SPLET) disasters. Goal of the detailed strategy and implementation plan is to tackle the delay in restoration of few days and up to a week as seen during the disasters in past five years, which caused significant suffering for many thousands, as agencies and utilities are not specifically prepared up and ready for SPLET disasters. Utilities alone cannot prepare for the level of effort needed under SPLET due to economic considerations requiring joint effort of state agencies, Federal emergency management agency (FEMA), utilities and others. • Presentation of the proposal to key opinion leaders, potential stake holders and agencies.
