• Served as the Senior Associate Art Director of HBR, Art Director of the OnPoint magazine, overseeing the creation of style guides, conceptualizing and directing cover art, and proofreading pages. • Worked closely with the Art Director daily and led bi-weekly critiques with the design team while directing feature layouts, proofing publication pages, and providing design guidance.• Oversaw art budgets, negotiated contracts with freelance artists, directed cover concept development, introduced redesigns and templates, and established design standards and brand guidelines.• Designed the Spotlight Feature section, sourcing new contemporary fine artists monthly to align with the Spotlight theme while creating and providing artistic direction for the front and back sections of books.• Served as Project Design Manager on the 2009 HBR Redesign Project, collaborating with an external design firm, conducting quality checks on style sheets, and instructing the team on new styles and art direction.• Won the 2013 Spotlight Award, 2010 Enterprise Team Award, and 2010 Spotlight Award, in addition to being nominated for the 2013 ASME General Excellence award.
