Job Summary• Monitoring and maintaining the debtors control function.• The full revenue cycle from invoicing to debtor’s collection.• Sending out of Debtors statements to customers.• Monitoring reasons for delays in collections.• Review of the Accounts Payable monthly reconciliations between supplier Statements, Invoices and AP ledger.• Monitoring and maintaining intercompany accounts• Reviewing of credit applications for new suppliers and customers• Promote and check the information presented in Evolution for new suppliers and customers against supporting details supplied, including but not limited to banking details.• Monitoring of Return to Supplier (RTS) process, the receipt of credit notes from suppliers, and the authorization of valid credit notes to customers• Reporting and monitoring of the net position between common suppliers/customers in AP and AR and reporting on critical issues• Ensuring payments are valid, accurate, complete and in line with terms as agreed with suppliers.• Maintaining supplier and customers relationships.• Providing the necessary information to update the daily cash position.• Tax and VAT compliance of the documentation supporting payments and receipts.• Compliance with the requirements of the SARB Exchange Control for foreign payments and receipts.• Support of the Procurement and inbound logistics functions• Assist with training of new staff in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cashbook.• Review reconciliation of AP aging to the general ledger• Review reconciliation of AR aging to the general ledger and report on AR ageing• Assist with queries from suppliers, customers and banks• Ensuring daily processing of day-end procedures across all entities.• Assist in the reconciling of long outstanding accounts.• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
