Accountability: Reported to the Delivery Head and supervised one resources for Database administration activities including installation, Configuration, operation, tuning and control user access. Managed a team of SQL Server DBAs/developers in the data migration from Lotus Notes to SQL Server, including normalization of database tables and stored procedure design. Responsible for Project execution for an International Financial Services client for deployment, configuration administration & Service Support of SQL Server database. Involved in development of Database side applications as well as provided production support on projects assigned.Achievements: Identified the root cause and resolved the database corruption even before Microsoft team conclude on the cause.

Accountability: Reported to the Country Head and led a team of 40 resources for day to day database support, advice and guidance to in-house application development team. Managed to participate in business process analysis, develop technical/functional specification & database design and control access to database server. Responsible to install/upgrade, configure and support Sybase SQL Servers and ensure availability of critical OLTP Production Servers for major branches of UAE EXCHANGE GROUP of companies in India and abroad. Involved in giving presentation of proof of concepts/the system design to the stake holders during regular meetings. Spearheaded calculation of space usage for database objects, optimization of resources, monitoring and Backup & Disaster Recovery procedures. Provided support to critical Production Servers on Sun Solaris, NCR UNIX platform and development servers on Windows at the Head office, Cochin. Led the pilot project of moving the IT systems to web based system from the distributed client server architecture & succeeded to move all the applications to web. Supported the Design and Development of the software for Hospital Management, Medical Invoicing, Financial Accounting and Inventory Management for UAE Exchange Group Companies in - Abu Dhabi & Dubai. Performed daily team administration routines as well as team development and people management activities to improve team productivities.Achievements: Reduced the overheads, thus the Opex, by migrating all the applications to the web based solutions and the centralized financial accounting system architected Achieved the expansion of the company smoothly from 11 branches initially to more than 600 branches all over India along with 5000 sub agent locations. The Back Office software developed in-house safeguarded the reputation of the company.
