This may be an unpopular opinion; however, I believe everyone should work a customer service job at least once in their lives. Hear me out: Having worked my first job as a Sales Associate at Urban Behaviour, then paying off my university degree while serving at Harper’s Landing, and later becoming a billing agent with Desjardins, the service industry has taught me three key principles that have guided me throughout my career: 1. Communication is not solely about speaking; it is about listening. 2. The more challenges you face, the more solutions you discover. 3. People never forget how you made them feel. While these principles can be vastly applied, they have lent themselves extremely well to my foray into investments and insurance; igniting my passion to help people generate wealth, accumulate savings, and protect assets. Currently, I am a client coordinator and policy analyst specializing in complex policy change and product/value comparisons for high net-worth clients. I enjoy aiding advisors in painting vivid pictures that allow clients to see the benefit of their policies as vehicles for wealth generation, business longevity, and succession planning. I hold a certificate in Project Management from Topron Consulting Inc., completed my Canadian Securities (CSC) designation in March 2023, and recently aced my provincial Life License Qualification Exam (LLQP) in August 2024. While I certainly enjoy collecting certifications like Infinity Stones, I’m eager to advance in my career and apply my practical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Who knows, I may earn my Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation along the way!Outside of my career endeavours, I enjoy practicing yoga, skating, and resistance training while being a dog mom to my Maltese, Misty.
