Chanel Verdult (UnicornDAO, former Bright Moments) is a founding member of two of the most active galleries and DAO’s in Web3 co-creating experiences from IRL live minting to international on chain festival “NFT Art Berlin” at Kraftwerk Berlin. She contributed to Bright Moments’ early stages of creative development, curation and community. Verdult has built art galleries and immersive experiences in Los Angeles, Soho, New York City, Berlin, and Mayfair, London. The exhibition NFT Art Berlin at Kraftwerk Berlin celebrated a dynamic lineup of over 150+ exhibiting renowned artists defying ways in which digital art and performance are experienced in an 8,000 square meter brutalist power station. Verdult describes a revolution driven by decentralization, art, activism & happenings.Verdult has curated exhibitions at Venice Biennale, Art Dubai, Art Basel, SXSW, NeoShibuya Tokyo Digital, Zorlu Performing Arts Center Istanbul, LA Live and more. She has traveled as a guest lecturer to speak in web3 conversations at Italian Tech Week Turin, Dongdaemun Design Center by Zaha Hadid, Istanbul Contemporary, Art Basel Miami x Tezos, Proof of People London and more. Currently, As the head of curation and a member of UnicornDAO, she works with co-founder Nadya Tolokonnikova and its core members to put their mission in front of a global audience in their initiative to create a fairer arts society for WMN+ artists to exist equally. Her curation on behalf of UnicornDAO was recently featured in Gagosian Quarterly where Gagosian highlights the DAO's collection of curating renowned emerging and established artists. In 2024 a Taschen published book "On NFTs" will feature a spread on Pussy Riot, UnicornDAO and pioneers who have helped the digital art ecosystem flourish on chain. She has worked one on one with over 300 artists sourcing their diverse portfolio of artworks for web3 companies. She's worked with artists in generative, AI, gaming, metaverse, animation, film, blockchain and contemporary art. Her passions lie on the brink of art and technology, collaborating with and seeking provocative visionaries who find all mediums boundless.
